PRETTYLITTLETHING BY KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN

I would be lying if I told you that I hadn't has the 26th October in my diary since the day it was said that well known and loved online website PrettyLittleThing were launching a collaboration with none other than Kourtney Kardashian herself. Ever since seeing the sneak peaks of the pictures in which were posted to her Instagram account I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the drop.

Now I know the 'Kardashian" family are well known in the media for good and bad but
it's undeniable that each of the sisters has paved the way into the world of fashion & beauty in a huge way and they have all come along especially within the last year. And so it was only a matter of time before something came from the oldest of the Kardashian K(c)lan itself Kourt.

I know a lot of you will be like 'why were you so eager for this launch?' well the truth is I'm a lover of all things fashion to be honest. And when a "celebrity" i use this term loosely releases something I'm always keen to see what it looks like, how it compares to other collabs or that particular brands other products. I can't lie I was also keen to look at what the pricing of the items would be, because lets face it as well all know PrettyLittleThing is well known for its super affordable prices, and also the hit and miss with the quality of certain items.

So for me it was about seeing what would be on offer to us fashion fiends, the quality of the item and the pricing. It's that simple. And when the email dropped into my mailbox telling me that it had officially launched I was straight on the website to see what it was all about.

From clicking on the link I was taken directly to the page and was greeted with a 43 piece strong item list featuring dresses which looked mini might I add, two pieces, coats to even a couple of pairs of shoes and more.

Pricing ranged from £8 - £75 which considering the collab isn't that bad at all in mu opinion. And my initial thoughts were "this is very 'party' season ready" with all the sequins and furs and figure hugging dresses. It was very glam to say the least, but also at the same time, very wearable in my opinion.

What I Ordered...

I decided to order 3 items from the collection.

This dress is made from soft fabric and although I ordered my usual size (UK10) I would possibly suggest going up a size as it is rather restricting to get in to as you have to either step into it or put it over your head and obviously it doesn't have that much stretch in it. One negative about the dress is the straps, they're cute, but they aren't adjustable and I have a problem with straps falling down if they aren't adjustable. But overall a great dress and really cute for this time of year. An affordable price as well.

I'm not usually one for colours like this  I'm all about black, white and grey at a push if you know anything about me, you will know this. So this was a little out of my comfort zone and for the price I had to give it a go. The quality is nice and it is of course figure hugging. For this I ordered my true size (UK10) and it fit great so for this one I would say it is true to size.

Finally this is way out of my comfort zone, as first of all, as I'm only little I feel that jumpsuits don't really give the right look on me and I don't give them justice. But as Kourt is only little as well I felt that I should really give it a go and see what happens. Also velvet is usually a put off for me as I don't tend to like this type of fabric, however this was really soft and not really an issue. Print wise, it is cute and with the gold its very season appropriate and even though it has a low cut V I don't personally think its too much.

My Final Thoughts ...

Overall I would say this is quite a good collection/collaboration and it has pieces which I think would  cater to a lot of different peoples styles etc. They're affordable  as expected from PrettyLittleThing and with the few pieces I ordered, I was happy with the quality of them and had no major issues at all. Definitely recommend trying it out for yourself, and to be honest this is one of my go to online destinations for key pieces right now.
