The Key To Perfectly Polished Skin

Happy New Year!

This is my first post of 2017 and I thought what better way to start then sharing with you a new skincare that I was generously gifted to me to try and let me tell you you're going to love it too.

It is by a brand that I personally wasn't familiar with but when I researched into the product I found it to be extremely intriguing as it's not something I had tried before. I've probably mentioned before that I have sensitive skin also sometimes oily and so trying out new products can always be a challenging thing for me.

So when La Rochelle reached out and asked me to try their cleansing gel I just had to give it ago. It advertises itself as "a refreshing, gentle soothing and oil free cleansing gel" which contains aloe vera and Hyaluronic acid ingredients

Personally this sounds very refreshing and gentle to the skin so when my parcel arrived I was very excited. I decided to test it out over a number of weeks and so it's been around 3 or so weeks now in which I have been using the product twice a week as recommended.

Initially I expected the gel to be a one which lathers up on the skin in which you would then rinse of with water, however, it was a completely different formula unlike anything i've tried before.

You first have to ensure that your face and neck are completely dry in which you then massage a small amount of the product into the skin in circular motions. It then creates a liquified consistency in which disintegrates the dead cells on the skin. It basically falls little balls of gel which are meant to have picked up any dirt from the skin.

the smallest amount is needed, believe me.

this is the result of rubbing the gel in a circular movement.

You then remove any residue with a tissue/face cloth and rinse with water. On first go of using this I was a little bit of unsure as to whether I liked the idea of this never mind believing it would actually work.

And then the more I tried it the more I was won over with this new 'technique' of facial cleansing as after a few applications my skin began to feel noticeably different and smoother.

I would recommend giving this product a go and it does advise it is suitable for all skin types. I will be continuing to use this as part of my cleansing routine around a twice week to keep on top of it.

You can find the exact product from La Rochelle here

It is from the US but it does ship to the UK and at the moment you can get 3 10ml cleansing gel tubes for $19 dollars (which is around £15)  I personally feel that they will last quite a while as like I say a little does go a long way.

Other options are also available though so be sure to check out their website.
