You probably will have noticed that my blog is dedicated to women's fashion/beauty etc for 99% of the time. But for a while now i've been toying with the idea of introducing a little more mens fashion into the mix to spice things up a bit and add a little bit of variety.
We all know that these days men love fashion just as much as we do and that's a good thing so I thought about it and decided for my first test post i'd put together
Also all items you'll find linked as always for easy shopping.
Designer
First of all i'll start with the Designer option. So for this look to begin with i've selected this Givenchy Distressed Denim Shirt (here). Denim is always a winner in my eyes and the likes of Givenchy and Saint Laurent kill it in this particular area I think. You can get so many types of denim these days it's crazzzzy, so you're bound to be able to find the perfect one for you.
I personally prefer lighter distressed denim for shirts/jackets.

I would style this open with a white tee underneath. Just a plain basic round neck like this Polo Ralph Lauren (here). The rest of the outfit does all the talking so I recommend you keep things simple.
For the bottom half there's nothing like a good pair of fitted jeans and designers such as Balmain and Saint Laurent have nailed this for guys. Particularly love these Saint Laurent Original Low Waisted Skinny Jeans in Black Rinse Stretch Denim (here) and with the added rip to the knees it adds that little edge to the whole look.
Finally for the footwear these all black Valentino Camouflage Contrast Panel Stud Sneakers (here) finish the look off perfectly. Even though they're all black and not as out there as the other designs they do all the talking.
Total for the outfit = £1,515
And if you guys are into your accessories you can always add a couple chains over the tee which you'll see through the open shirt/jacket.
To me this outfit is everything and I think this look is sexy and manly all in one. Perrrrrfect.
Highstreet
Alternatively if splashing the cash on designer pieces isn't your thing, don't worry about it because i've got the perfect alternatives for you below. Which at a fraction of the cost will still have you feeling great just friendlier on your wallet.
First of all we have a Denim Jacket in Slim Fit Light Blue Wash ASOS (here) You can never go wrong with the quality from ASOS and their stuff is at such affordable prices. The light wash denim is just right and a great alternative at almost £600 less than the Givenchy.
Again keeping with the plain white tee under neath the jacket ASOS off this T-shirt with Crew Neck and Roll Sleeve (here) You honestly can't go wrong for the price of it. And it's also available in a variety of colours.
Jeans wise I found the perfect dupe on ASOS (I didn't intend to base this all on here but they offer just too much great stuff) and these ASOS Spray On Jeans with Knee Rips (here) are great.
Finally, onto the footwear I came across these Nike Air Max Sequent Men's Runners (here) which will finish the look off. You honestly can't go wrong will all black trainers seriously.
Total for the outfit = £146.00
What are your thoughts on this look? Are you more designer than highstreet, or like me do you like to mix them both.
