Look Fantastic '#LFBESTOFBRITISH' Review

It's been one month now since I received my second instalment of the Look Fantastic beauty box. This time around it was a special #LFBESTOFBRITISH edition which featured six cute little goodies from British brands.

The box is super cute, all pink and girly with the British flag on the front.

August's box included the following six products;

RENU SKIN Advanced Anti-Aging Lip & Eye Active Lift
balance me Congested Skin Serum
BEE GOOD Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm
Percy & Reed London Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Balm
REN Clean Skincare Anti Pollution Mist
BOOM AND BLOSSOM Rejuvenating Facial Spritz

One of the first things which I went to try out was the 'balance me congested skin serum' which advises it is "an instant on the spot natural blemish control designed to soothe and reduce both spots and blocked pores, to bring the skin back into balance".

And as I was going through a little 'breakout' stage I thought perfect just what I'm looking for. Over the last month I have used this at least 3-4 times a week and I have to say I think it's a really good product my skin is feeling smoother and my break out is well and truly under control. It feels as thought it's working as soon as it touches your skin, I really have nothing bad to say about this product and I think it would be suitable for all skin types.

The next product I went for was the  'Bee Good vanilla and honey lip balm' as for some reason I can no longer use the EOS balm (some sort of weird reaction to it yikes) and so I was looking for an alternative to vaseline. I must say it smells nice and does feel soft on the lifts, I guess it does its job.

A type of product that I hadn't tried before was both the 'REN clean skincare anti pollution mist' and the 'Boom and Blossom rejuvenating facial spritz'. I decided that I would use the first one whilst out traveling etc as it was small enough to pop in my bag and the latter I would use when I felt my skin was feeling tired and needed a quick pick me up. I can't even lie either I kinda really liked both. They were super refreshing and I personally think they did as advised. No complaints, and would definitely recommend. The latter also includes a number of ingredients which help improve skin tone and and reduce wrinkles and dark shadows.

The last two product of the box was the 'renu skin lip and eye lift' and the 'Percy & Reed London perfectly perfecting wonder balm'. I wasn't really too fussed about these two products only because I don't really use different products on my hair due to it being quite thin at the moment and certain products make it look or feel greasy. And also with the skin and eye lift it didn't sound like something I would like to use. I wasn't wrong. The lip and eye lift I'm not too sure what the results would be but I didn't see any differences after using it 2-3 times a week and the perfecting wonder balm did as I thought and I wouldn't recommend for thin hair.

Overall, I loved August's box and it's exciting waiting for the delivery each month to see what new little goodies are in store.
