Positivity

I thought I would just touch upon briefly a subject matter in which I raised a few posts ago in with I discussed my diagnosis with depression and hitting a really low point in my life.
A few weeks have passed now and I'm a few sessions in on my therapy and counselling and getting to grips with reality and the things in which I need to do to ensure I don't end up back in the old fame of mind again which was a very bad place to be.

I'm starting to be a lot more positive about life and my existence and I have found that beginning to let go of various aspects of my life which were holding me back I have in fact been able to move forward. This has been a great learning experience for me and for once in my life I am finding it easier to share my feelings with others and talk about the problems I may be experiencing.

I have found that writing a lot of things down, whether it be how I'm feeling or what I'm wanting to achieve, is making it a lot easier to understand that these things are achievable and I can do them.
Whenever I find myself slipping back to my old self I remind myself of what I lost and could lose again and it pushes me to change my thought process and actions immediately.

I would personally recommend seeking help if you yourself are finding it difficult to deal with a lot of things, from the usual day to day tasks, to work and even socialising, you know your self, body and mind the best and so don't ever feel ashamed if you're feeling low. Talk about it to someone, a friend, a family member or loved one even an outsider like a counsellor can be a great help.

Never give up hope that things can change and get better.

If you would like to ask me any questions about what it is i've been through or any advice then please get in touch via email or by leaving a comment below.

I'm more than happy to share my experiences and help where needed.
