Glow Like A Goddess

Come through GLOWWWWW!

I just loove me some highlight, who doesn't want to shine like a Goddess though ?!?!
Since highlighters have come into my world and strobing and all that good stuff I literally just can't get enough of it. I. Shine. Like. The. GODSSS

Those cheekbones and brownness uh uh honeyyyy.

I currently have three that I go to and I mean sometimes I use a little something from each one as I just can't seem to get enough.

First of all was the first one I invested in and it was the Mary Lou Manizer from The Balm and it's a gorgeous shimmery gold colour which adds the perfect pop to those naturally highlighted areas.

The next one I picked up from Sephora when I was in New York and it's by Becca Cosmetics in Champagne Pop which is a sought after highlighter. Again, it is to die for! Gorgeous colour and when added to a damp fan brush for application it is so pigmented!

The final pick I have chosen is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit which is a 4 piece highlighting god send, sent from the heavens. With four colours to choose from; Sunburst, Golden Bronze, Bubbly, Dripping in Gold. At the moment I tend to go for the Bubbly and Dripping in Gold. They are the perfect colours for that extra glow.

Black Midi Dress

A simple black midi dress teamed with silk bomber jacket and black heels is a great look to put together whether it be for date night or drinks with the girls.

Alternatively wearing the dress with sandals and sunnies for a more casual vibe which is great for evenings on holiday or shopping.

Cute Nutrition ; Update

So if you follow me on Instagram (if you don't follow me now search 'natalieayse') then you will have probably seen around a month ago I started using Cute Nutrition meal replacement shakes for the first time.

For my first order as I was bit dubious I picked up the Strawberry Shake and the Cute shaker. I had read a few different posts on how people had been using these shakes as part of their daily routine and how they had begun to see results so I was very interested in finding out what would work for me and what wouldn't I guess.

I started having one shake for my breakfast which I make by added 3 slightly heaped spoons of the powder to 250ml of skimmed milk (it has to be skimmed milk or water so there is no extra added fat) and I would have one for my breakfast and one for my lunch and then I would have a 'healthier' meal for dinner.

I found it really easy to drink and to be honest it tastes like strawberry Nesquik which is my favourite milkshake ever, and so I decided the next time to place an order I would get one of the chocolate flavoured ones as well. Again, it tastes soooo good and not like other meal replacement shakes I've tried in the past.

What I occasionally do to switch it up sometimes is have oats for breakfast followed by a shake for lunch and then a shake around 30-60 minutes before dinner so it starts to fill me up. I also suppose if it's easier for you, you could have a shake as a sort of snack throughout the day to avoid snacking on chocolate as they really take the sugar craving away as such.

I have also found myself drinking even more water than usual as before I would just east and pick at different things, especially chocolate when really all it means a lot of the time is that you're dehydrated and need a drink.

Over the last 8 weeks I have lost 8lb and noticed that my tummy is beginning to look a lot less bloated and more flat. Don't get me wrong I have also been going to the gym alongside these shakes 4-5 times a week and I also went on holiday and have had a few days away here and there so I haven't stuck to a 'healthy and balanced' diet all the time.

You really need to find the right balance between working out and eating right in order to maintain a body you're proud of and I couldn't feel better about myself right now. It's helping me gain more confidence and getting me summer body ready.

Remember each shake contains 130 calories.

A Little Tip ....

What I have also recently started to do since I invested in all 3 flavours, Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry is mixing them together. So for example I add 2 shakes of vanilla and then either 1 scoop of chocolate or 1 scoop of strawberry so you are still only adding 3 scoops in total but mixes the taste up a little bit.... The chocolate tastes like chocolate ice cream when mixed and the strawberry tastes like strawberry and cream.

Recently they launched their protein shakes as well which are in the flavours Pornstar Martini and Strawberry Daiquiri - I've tried the first and it's very different to the meal replacement shakes and I'm hoping to see some differences with how toned I am and become.

Give it a go and let me know what you think.

You can find the full Cute Nutrition range here

and they now also do a teatox so check it out!

ASOS Haul Part One

ASOS has to be one of my favourite online shopping destinations, I could literally spend hours trawling through the pages one after another and finding great buys. I think it's the perfect place for all your needs as it offers everything from basics to more higher end brands and literally has something for everyones budget.

I found this cute little grey bodycon dress from ASOS's own brand and thought it would be great for summer and as a transitional piece that can be styled with many things. I then spotted these colourful wrap around the leg sandals, which would be great for holidays and can be worn with dresses, skirts and shorts and add a little pop of colour to an outfit.

The bag I think would be great filled with the essential around the pool or beach or if you were popping to a little bar for a few drinks on holiday. Lovely colours and quite spacious.

Neutral Leggings #OOTD

Whether we like to admit it or not, and love them or hate them, leggings have become a 'staple' piece in any girls wardrobe these days lets face it. Gone are the days that they would only be worn as an alternative to tights under dresses or long tops. Now, you see them teamed with anything from tees, hoodies and even matching two-pieces.

If you scroll through the likes of Instagram you will see exactly what I mean, online 'boutiques' are full of them and not only do leggings come in the typical black and grey but they are available in so many different colours, prints and patterns and at a variety of costs.

I recently came across an Instagram page called NKC Clothing which deals in the neutral shades and tones of leggings which is of course very on trend right now. With the likes of nudes, khakis, browns and light pinks for example.

What I like about them is the ease of them and the fact they can be worn with so many different things to create different looks and because they are affordable and versatile you can switch it up a lot. They're figure hugging in all the right places and if bought in the correct size (yes believe me I have seen people wearing them either too small or even too big) then they can look good whether worn with sandals, sneakers or even heels.

I picked up a pair from NKC Clothing in the shade 'latte' and I think they are reasonably priced at £12 a pair. Currently you can order them via email or DM as their website is currently under construction, but they are very helpful and always on hand to help.

They are of a good quality fabric and not see through when on, they fit comfortably and I'd definitely recommend them. I can't wait to purchase a couple more, had great compliments when wearing them!

My Go To Concealers

I am really in to beauty products right now and I love trying different products and finding my own favourites to use. Because I don't use a foundation at all, but occasionally suffer from the odd blemish and mark I like to invest in a good concealer.

I currently have three go to favourites that I swear by, the first being the Rimmel London 'Wake Me Up' Concealer which I have used for quite a while now. It covers blemishes really well I find and has a good coverage, the colour I tend to go for is classic beige.

The next one I reach for is the Yves Saint Laurent 'Touche Eclat' Radiant Touch which I tend to use to brighten up under the eye, down the bridge of my nose and for highlighting the brow bone once cleared up the brows. It's a creamy consistency and I love the application brush. I literally swear by this product.

My final pick I find myself going for at the moment, which I wanted to try after seeing various beauty bloggers talk about it and use it in their beauty tutorials, is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Vanilla. This is perfect for brightening the under eye and bridge of nose also when contouring the face and so far so good with this.

They come in an array of colours from black, red, yellow to pink blush tones and crisp white as well as different textures and fabrics from bandage, metallic to sheer. All styles they have tried to ensure are flattering to the female form and body types.

Buy For Less

I thought it was about time I put together a new guide of things i've found as alternatives to those designer and higher end items i'm lusting over at the moment, because let's face it we all love a bargain right?!

You may have seen these on the Instagram as I have, especially around Coachella posts as they're perfect for festivals. These are the 'Mabu by Maria BK' pom pom sandals which retail at £140.
Available on net-a-porter here

However, if these are a little bit out of your price range then you can pick up this alternative pair from Glamorous via ASOS here

When I seen this dress I fell in love, not my usual style but I think it would look so flattering when on. Its by Alexander McQueen and is an off the shoulder ruffle dress. It's priced at £1525 from net-a-porter here

With a cheaper alternative available from ASOS in this textured bandeau dress priced at only £30 here

Now i've been lusting after these Valentino Rockstud Flats for a while now but i'm torn between the flats and the 120mm heeled version, priced at £595 from net-a-porter here

If again these are out of your budget you can pick up a dupe pair from Dune via ASOS here  for £70

If you're attending any festivals this year or doing some travelling then this Saint Laurent festival large fringed suede back pack which is priced at £1,175 and available from net-a-porter here

For a more purse friendly alternative I found this backpack whilst browsing Missguided's website.
Priced at £20 for this front tassel back pack you can't go wrong. Available here

These are just a few key pieces i've been looking at recently. If you have any other alternatives leave a message below as I love browsing different sites etc
